Introduction
Education is the cradle of outstanding talent and has a profound impact on the sustainable development of society. Teachers form a vital cornerstone of quality education. Hong Kong must therefore continue to nurture outstanding prospective teachers so that excellence in the teaching profession can be passed on. The Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association and the Hong Kong Prospective Teachers Association jointly organise the Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Award to provide opportunities for prospective teachers to learn from their peers and seniors, pursue excellence, and receive recognition from the education sector. This year, we continue our efforts to encourage prospective teachers from different institutions to equip themselves and strive for excellence, becoming outstanding teachers of the future. Through education, we aim to improve human life and promote social progress. The judging panel comprises education professionals (principals of secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens, as well as scholars). Through initial review, final review (including Q&A) and demonstration teaching, the panel will select recipients of the Outstanding Prospective Teacher Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit Awards for commendation.

Objectives
1.To recognise prospective teachers with strong teaching competence and educational aspirations;
